On September 29th, the 2024 China Listed Companies ESG Index Release Conference took place in Hangzhou. According to the 2024 ranking of the best-performing listed companies in Zhejiang Province for ESG metrics, Huayou Cobalt secured the 15th position.

Huayou Cobalt has been recognized for its exemplary performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria and its proactive contributions to the sustainable development of the industry. This inclusion is a testament to the company’s sustained dedication to sustainable development and acknowledges its unwavering commitment to fulfilling social responsibilities within its business operations.

This year, Huayou Cobalt has also been featured on the 2024 Fortune China ESG Influence List. In Indonesia, the company received the primary award in the raw materials category of the 2024 IDX Channel ESG Awards, marking its first such recognition. Notably, Huayou was the sole Chinese enterprise among the 39 awardees. Furthermore, Huayou participated extensively in the drafting and formulation of the "Guidelines for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Information Disclosure of Non-Ferrous Metal Enterprises," which came into effect in September.

Moving forward, Huayou Cobalt will continue to constructively develop its ESG management framework, bolster its international operational landscape, and rigorously implement a "low-carbon, green, and sustainable" transformation strategy.
